 The way to a grandsons heartJul 05, 2010
This is a great product, it was great for my grandson, who's middle name is Spiderman, The board is the perfect length as he is just starting to skate board, big platform to balance. The artwork on the board is great, all the equipment that came with the board, helmet and pads is well worth the low price, I would purchase this product again.

My 4 year old about fell out when he got this for his birthday! It's absolutely perfect! It comes with a helmet(which is ajustable), knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards. Although he cannot ride it all the way by himself, if he did he would be fully protected! The top of the skateboard also has a sandpaper feel to it so his converses stay firmly planted! Perfect for a beginner!

I bought this for me girlfriends son. He's loving it. The pads that come with it are cheap items and they probably won't last but they do get the job done. I think they will last long enough so the kid can learn to skateboard. The helmet will offer enough protection for him also. The board itself is more than good enough. I don't see any real problems with it. It rolls nicely. I gave it 5 stars for just the board. I could have knocked a star off for the cheap pads but I am focusing on the board. For the cheap price that I bought the combo pack for I knew that the cost of a good set of pads and a helmet would have easily cost more than this combo pack. This is a good deal for a first skateboard.

After 6 months of my 5 year old son asking for a skateboard, my husband and I decided to get him one for his 6th birthday. Instead of just a skateboard, this combo set came with the helmet, elbow pads, hand/wrist pads and knee pads. He put on all of the gear and off he went. He loves it. He said on his birthday, "This is the BEST present ever!" Even my 19 year old son was very impressed at the quality of not only the skateboard, but of the helmet and pads. Skateboarding might be a little dangerous, but at least the protective gear will keep him safer. And we could NOT beat the price. Had we bought the skateboard and protective gear separately, it probably would have cost 3 or 4 times the price. I was very happy we made the purchase through Amazon. A few other vendors wanted [...]more for the same thing.

This skateboard was purchased for our son who loved it! It has held up well, but the helmet and protective padding is very 'cheap' and has started to fall apart. We never used the helmet much as I didn't really trust it. The board is great though which is what we really purchased it for.
